We have resolved the issue by reverting the component upgrade from earlier. We will continue to review the component upgrade process before upgrading again in future.
This impacted customer-provided content during the window of 12:50 to 14:18 UTC, and mainly affected user logins.

We recently observed a brief service disruption as a result of migrating to a new component version. This component is used indirectly by several systems and we reverted the change quickly. Many portals were temporarily affected.
